On the morning of August 26, a grand ceremony was held to officially launch the KUKA Automotive Automation showroom in Songjiang. Attendees included Gu Yanmin, Vice President of Midea Group; Christoph Schell, CEO of KUKA; Alexander Tan, CFO of KUKA; Xu Guiyou, CEO of KUKA China; and Xue Yan, General Manager of KUKA Automotive Automation.
This was no ordinary ribbon-cutting ceremony. As the lion dance performance electrified the atmosphere and the ribbon-cutting itself brought the event to a climax, what we witnessed was not merely the opening of a physical space, but another pivotal move in KUKA’s strategic expansion within China’s automotive automation sector.
